Why choose our product?
Nowadays you can find on the shelves of stores and pharmacy chains, mainly, wild rosehip dried fruits. But do you know that the chemical composition of the berries, especially vitamin C content, varies greatly depending on the species?
The most common in the south of Ukraine, Moldova, Crimea and the Caucasus – is the Rosa Canina (dog rose) species which contains such a small amount of vitamin C (an average of 300 – 600 mg of the dry weight of pulp), that it has no great importance as a vitamin plant. The fruits of the vitamin rosehip can be easily distinguished from the fruits of wild the rosehip by its sepals, which remain on the fruit and are directed forward, on the fruits of the wild rosehip the sepals being directed backwards (looks like they are laying on the berry). Our company cultivates two high-concentration of vitamin C species. The first harvest has shown really high content of Vitamin C – 7200 mg, which is 12 – 15 times higher than the average content of ascorbic acid in the wild species available on the market. Also, our rosehip has high content of carotenoids, propectins and flavanoids.
