The Thing: Remastered Announced

Trust no one once more – 2002’s squad-based survival horror classic is coming back with The Thing: Remastered, courtesy of Nightdive Studios.

A sequel to John Carpenter’s genre-defining 1982 film, players will join Cpt J.F. Blake and his team as they investigate the events that happened at Outpost 31.

True to the movie, an advanced trust/fear mechac will determine your team’s psychological state. As a result, that will determine whether they co-operate with the player.

The Thing: Remastered will feature 20 levels, squad-based action, 4K resolution at up to 144 FPS, new dynamic lighting, improved models, textures, and environments, an advanced fear/trust interface.
