DOOM: The Dark Ages Releasing in 2025

Set to release next year, the team at id Software and Bethesda Softworks released the first trailer for DOOM: The Dark Ages during the Xbox Games Showcase earlier today.

A prequel to 2016’s DOOM and DOOM Eternal, DOOM: The Dark Ages has been developed on the latest idTech engine.

Much like previous entries in this trilogy, DOOM: The Dark Ages is a single-player action FPS that tells of the cinematic origin story of the DOOM Slayer’s rage.

DOOM: The Dark Ages will release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The title will also make its way to Xbox Game Pass.
